The foundation provides funding for foreign students to study in Japan with the intention of training them in a way that develops high intercultural awareness and makes them capable of playing a leading role in future international relations.

The foundation provides funding for foreign students to study in Japan with the intention of training them in a way that develops high intercultural awareness and makes them capable of playing a leading role in future international relations.

From 2014, target universities were expanded to 8 universities. (Tohoku University, University of Tsukuba, IUJ, University of Tokyo, Doshisha University, Osaka University, Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Kyushu University).
