You are supposed to be in doctoral course or within five years after finishing doctoral course as of April 1st, 2012.
Will you provide a grant for our research?
Please first carefully read "Information for Applicants" to understand the objectives of our program. Among the applications submitted, the selection committee will decide which research projects are awarded grants, in accordance with the objectives of the grant.
I have received grant from the Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation in the past. Can I apply again?
We are very sorry that those who have received the grant in the past are not eligible. We appreciate your understanding.

As for size of font, do I have to use letters and numbers with a font size of 10.5 points or larger for all the pages?
As for sheet No.2,3,4,5 of application form, we would like you to use letters and numbers with a font size of 10.5 points or larger to attain equality of contents for screening. As for other sheets and "Coverage of the Total Budget" on sheet No.4, you can use letters and numbers with a smaller font size to fit in the columns.
Should the language on the "Recommendation" (sheet no.8) be in English or Japanese?
Yes, it should be written in English or Japanese.
Are there any particular criteria to select reference for the application?
Please select 2 experts from appropriated related fields of your research.
As for "Budget" (sheet No.6), am I supposed to break down the total cost for the research?
Please break down the amount of grant that you requested to the Konosuke Matsushita Memorial Foundation.
Does the grant cover the cost of holding events such as symposiums and conferences?
Our grant does not cover the cost of holding events such as symposiums and conferences. Moreover, the cost of attending international academic conferences shall not be covered.
Could you tell me other items that the grant does not cover?
